An Endurance Test

Some of you know what has been going on here, but for those of you who don't we wanted to let you know. 3 weeks ago mom allowed a friend of hers, AND her 3 (yes 3) cats to come and stay with us for a short time (or so we thought). I need to explain here that mom's friend has lupus, fibromyalgia, possibly lymphoma, and something else mom can't remember. Well, mom's friend had a bout of illness which caused her to be out so much from work she lost her job...then because she lost her job and had no money she lost her home. Plus, one cat was old and dying (another reason mom allowed them in). And, since no on else seemed to be willing to help her, AND her 3 cats, mom said they could stay here. Mom put a time limit of a MAXIMUM of 2 weeks, but they ended up being here 3. Anyway, it turned into a nightmare for us, and we both got very stressed by it. The 2 healthy male cats treed me onto the table one day and they kept chasing me and following me around. GEEZ! But, the worst was the human. She kept trying to make friends with me and would never back off and give me space, even when I made it extremely clear to her, in very hostile, aggressive ways. She would also try trimming my nails when I made NO clear in the same way, and she got aggressive with me as well. I could tell mom REAAALY wanted to say more than she ever did. I hated that human more and more each day. I never got mad at the other cats or mom. I knew it wasn't their fault, and mom was doing the best she could to handle things. Finally, yesterday mom got them out of here. However, it took mom lots of green papers to help them leave. Mom said it was worth the money! I agree. So, today we're both more relaxed and at ease. I've been going through crazies all morning...heehee!! It's been raining ice here today, so mom and I are just going to stay in "chillaxin'" together, having some great one on one time!! Oh, and if you donated to my paypal account while I was sick, but have not yet received a personal thank you note from us, this has been the reason why. Mom said she will try to get those finished up now in the next couple of weeks. We deeply apologize for the delay!! Love, Beau
