Thursday 13
I have at LEAST 13 ways I know mom is going out, so I thought I would share them with you. 1) The alarm goes off. (She doesn't use it much when she's not going out.) 2) Mom doesn't play with me as much in the morning. 3) She does more with her head fur. 4) She colors her lips and face. 5) She puts on shoes (not worn much when home). 6) Mom makes sure my food and water bowls are FULL. 7) She puts on her coat. 8) She puts her purse over her shoulder instead of just picking it up. 9) She gets her keys and holds onto them. 10) She tells me she loves me extra times. 11) She tells me to be a good boy (which means she's not going to the riding machine and coming right back in). 12) She gets up earlier than normal, and 13) I hear the riding machine leave and see it go past the window. (Then I'm sad and go take a loooooong nap.) Love, Beau

Troubled Tuxie Tuesday
I heard some news yesterday I found very disturbing. The Animal Resuce Site desperately NEEDS clicks. They are not getting enough clicks to receive enough sponsor money to feed the animals. This is NOT good!! I crunched the numbers and if EVERYONE on this site goes and clicks daily, we can provide 90+ bowls of food A DAY to feed those needy animals….and this is just the cats clicking not counting NOMS friends and family. We are a force to be reckoned with! EVERY time you visit this blog I want you to click on the link on the right sidebar and click for food, if you haven't already. Help spread the word, put this in your post and let’s help those animals NOW!! They NEED us! (And put it in your Catster, MyCatSpace, UnitedCats, and any other blogs your family has!) Love, Beau

Frustrated Friday
Last night I got so frustrated 'cause first I couldn't find the prayer vigil and about the time I did the computer went nuts, and by the time I got back in and to the vigil it was almost over. PFFFFFFFFT!! Also, have you ever had a day where you felt you were fussed at more than you were loved on? That's how my day started. But, it's getting better. Mom has been playing a lot with me off and on this morning, but now she's gone on a cleaning frenzy so I'm staying out of her way. I'm teleporting to see Ghost. Abby, and BG. If you need me, you'll know where to find me! Love, Beau

Tiring Tuxie Tuesday
I have been so busy the last 24 hours. First, mom helped me set myself on UnitedCats, and then she helped me update my site on MyCatSpace. At the same time we also added badges for both to my side bar at the right. Plus, I've been very busy taking care of mom and helping her help Aunt T. get ready for Grandpa and Momma S.'s 50th wedding anniversary. (There's a countdown thing at the right for that too.) Aunt T. has also been here to check on dinner details and I got to see her briefly yesterday. I was very good. I didn't hiss, pouf, whine, or spat like I usually do. But, then Grandpa was with her and they brought us some food. Today it's all yucky, wet and cold outside. Mom's disappointed because they said we might get snow last night, but we didn't. I'm going to go take a nap now. I'm worn out from everything. I hope you all have a blessed day and take care! Love, Beau

Mancat Monday - Award and Tribute

I received the Thinking Blogger Award from my dearest, Ghost. I would like to first dedicate it to the memory of Caesar because he makes me think of how lucky I am. I will miss him so much! I would also like to thank Ghost, and dedicate to to her, the love of my life, for the same reason just in different ways. Ghost said some really nice things about me that, as always, touched my heart, and I would just like for her to know I think of her as a WONDERFUL girlfriend cat. I love you, Ghost, no matter what and always will. I will love you forever!!

Friday Fank-You
Mom and I would like to thank ML for making mom's jewelry banner on the right side bar. Thank you SOOO much ML!! We hope all is well with you, your family, and the thundering herd of Mites, Torties, and Moms!! We would also like to send a special shout out to mom's friend Melinda, and her family. They rescued a woofie within hours of it's scheduled RB appointment. We are SOOO happy the woofie got a forever home just in time...and he is only a PUPPY! Thanks Melinda! And speaking of mom, just a brief update...she went to her v-e-t yesterday regarding her medication issues and also talked to the pill store people, and mom still doesn't know anymore than she did, except she shouldn't be having problems. Also, she is sick right now with a VERY bad sore throat and taking anti-bio-tics. Now back to me, I found out about a new site like Catster and MyCatSpace called United Cats. Well, we already know about being united cats 'cuz already are! But if you want to check out the site here is the link: http://www.unitedcats.com/. Love, Beau

Tuxie Tuesday
This is what I look like when I've been up all night worrying about my my friends. Scary isn't it?! So, the next time any of you even THINK of disappearing and scaring us remember this picture! (PS. Now I'll do some happy happy joy joy spins before I go back to worrying about some disturbing blood counts and other sick kitties.) Love, Beau

NOOOO, The TREEEEES

Things weren't okay with the injured trees. They're GONE! They KILLED them!!! ALL of them (6 of them)!! Mom is even upset by this, muttering something about disturbing the environment and no safe place for birds to roosts, especially in winter, etc, etc... Now I have less places to bird watch. I have insisted mom write a letter to somebody, ANYBODY regarding this horrible matter. Oh, I soooo need a nap right now. I need to snuggle with my nip. I need to cuddle with Ghost. I need to hug Abby. I need a shrink. While I'm trying to recover, I will answer a question. Grandpa and Momma S. are having a BIG, formal family dinner for their 50th wedding anniversary. This means mom has to wear a dress and panty hose and she keeps muttering about that too. Personally I think she's just losing her mind she's muttering to herself so much right now, and =looks around and whispers= and I think the men in the little white coats will be coming soon, so I might need a new place to live. =half worried look, half mischievious grin= Love, Beau

Blown Away
It's been very cloudy and windy here today. Since I have not seen a single bird all day I assume they must have all been blown away. I find that very sad. Howeve,r I witnessed a very terible thing today. I was watching a man go up in a white bucket thing to the top of a tree. He was holding a growling many toothed monster in his hands and when he got up high he cut off lots of arms of the tree and the tree loudly growled in pain when he did it! It was AWFUL! I kept going to mom and crying for her to go out there and make them stop but she said it was okay and they would grow back. Mom said the tree wasn't growiling in pain either. It was the cutting thing making the noise. I don't believe her. My eyes just stayed big and I just got so upset. I'm still not over it! On a way more positive note, I GOT NIP RAVIOLIS FROM DERBY!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH DERBY!!! (A proper note will be coming in the mail.) I've always wanted nip raviolis but mom alwasy said we couldn't afford them and they were a "luxury." (Nip is a necessity, not a luxury mom.) Now I've got some, and just in time to snuggle with and comfort myself with. Thanks again Derby!! (Pictures coming soon, I hope!) Love, Beau

Busy, Busy, Busy
I've been very busy this morning bird patroling at the bedroom window. Lots of chirpy birds to watch. Oh, and I've been catching up on all my friends this morning. I am soooo excited!! Stella got married and is going to be having more babies again WAHOO!! And Missy and KC got to keep little brothers, and there's just so much HAPPY stuff going on right now!! =spins= Looks likes this is starting off to be a better year at least for some! On March 9, Grandpa and Momma S. will have been married for 50 years! Mom is having medication issues but she will be okay. Me, I'm doing okay I guess...especially for a middle-aged cat...heehee!! Not much is going on around here. It's pretty quiet these days...just taking it easy. I hope everyone has a healthy, happy, joyful, blessed 2008!! Love, Beau

Ya gotta have nip!

Happy New Year to you too! I agree, nip is a necessity. It was windy and rainy here the last couple of days too. I'm glad I didn't have that loud man torturing a tree outside my house. I would have been very scared.

Curl up with your nip ravioli. It'll make you feel lots better.

I haven't from ya so I thought I would stop over to make sure ya are feelin better. Glad to see that ya are. I don't know where the birdies go when the weather is bad, maybe they hide and only come out on nice days or shop at the mall until the rain goes away. Boy that must have been scary with that tree thingie goin on. Hope you are OK now. Nice that ya got some nip ravioli, that was nice that it was a present to ya. Oh, happy anniversary to the folks.

Hi Beau!
Hope some birdies come back so you can watch them!! I know it is fun to look outside and see what is happening there.
Love Clover xo

Oh, there you are. We have been coming back looking for you but didn't think to scroll down.

It's tough when you can hear the trees crying and no one will listen to you. We're sorry you lost your bird-watching trees. That's a loss not even nip can calm.

What's an RB appointment? That doesn't sound like something we would want to have. Glad the puppy was saved.

A lot of those things are how I know my mommy is leaving me, too! She always gives me extra kisses and tells me to be good and have a good day . . . and then I hear the garage door open and she's gone. :(

Just tell your Mom to stay home and not do that stuff. heheheh
