Mancat Monday
I would first like to dedicate this Mancat Monday to my good friend Sammy Meezer. Even though he didn't win, he did an awesome job in the Nascar race yesterday. Concatulations on a job well done!! You truly are the mancat of the day! I, myself, was very busy. I was on his pit crew seeing to the tires. I was so busy that once I started working I didn't have time to even visit/talk. I did get up on the wall with the rest of the crew to salute the #3 car on IT"S anniversary race. That was an awesome moment as well!! I did take a few minutes to talk to Casey Kane as he is the cousin of Oreo's mom (for those who didn't know). That was neat. I'm just so proud of Sammy of racing, and feel honored to have been on his pit crew. I'm looking forward to next year!! Love, Beau

Wednesday Weather - Update 2
Super storm cell two came through about 1 am this morning. The good part was that by the time it reached here it wasn't quite as super as it started. However, it was stil very bad. Even though it did not hit us, there is major tragedy across the state. Earliest estimates are at least 30 deaths and at least 150 injured. People are still missing so the death and injured count is surely to go up. There are no reports yet of total property damage. I do know that a Missionary Baptist church was destroyed and a University in west Tennessee is severely damaged, including one dorm with a roof missing. Also, a gas line was broken causing a major fire. I also know just in one community alone, 45 minutes from here, 36 homes were destroyed. Oh, and in the area most hit there were 20 semi-trucks overturned on the interstate (not counting cars, etc.). 3 tornadoes hit fairly close to here..one was approx 15 minutes away, one 30 minutes away, and the other 45 minutes away. We need to pray for the famiiles who've lost loved ones, possible pets, and belongings; and, for everyone involved in the cleanup effort. Thanks for caring, Love, Beau

Turbulent Tuxie Tuesday
We are having super cell storms here with tornados likely. Mom says I cannot stay on the computer. I might have to go stay in the bathroom with mom soon. Right now I´m washing my face so I will be wide awake and alert to any possible dangers. Take carey, my friends! Love, Beau (UPDATE 1: The first, and lesser, super cell has gone through and everything is okay at our place. A tornado did touch town across town however. There is lots of storm damage all over west and south of us. I did have to go into the bathroom for a short while. Mom said she is SOOO proud of me. I had been napping and when it was time, I jumped down from my bed, and calmly walked on my own across the hall into the bathroom and did not resist mom closing the door behind me. Mom did not have to fetch me and wrestle me into the bathroom. Mom was so proud of me she told Grandpa. He was proud of me as well. Of course, afterwards I had to take a hit on my nip carrot to take the edge off. The next super cell is supposed to hit in approximately 1 1/2 hours so I've got a little computer time!!)

Mellow Mancat Monday
Not much going on here. Just another day. Mom is feeling better but doesn´t have much enenrgy so we´ve taken it easy all weekend. She watched something called the Super bowl. I don´t know if she liked it or not because she didn´t get mad at the end but she didn´t get way excited either. She did say her favorite commercials were the screaming squirrel, the clydesdale that had to train hard for a year; and the e-trade commercials with the talking baby. She seemed more into the commercials than the game. Oh well! I did get my chicken that she promised to give me and that was yummy! I even got to see Grandpa and Momma S. today. Oh, and I have a special surprise for Ghost at this blog on Valentine's Day. Be sure to come and found out what! That's about all that's happening here...just taking it easy! Hope everyone has a wonderful, blessed week! Love, Beau

Hi Beau! Mommy was totally into the commercials too. Mommy was hoping for the Pats, but Daddy for the Giants. In the end, they didn't really care cause the Bengals weren't in it.
I'm glad your mommy is feeling better. Mommy's cousin never called back, but the cousin's sister said it is a prescription "anti motion sickness"

You certainly look like a Southern Gentleman with your bow tie. I don't have a bow tie, but I am from the South. I live in Mississippi.

Nice to meet you. ~Socks

Oh Beau, those storms sound scary! We are supposed to have some storms today too, but not as bad. You were a very brave and strong mancat to know when to go into the bathroom with your mommy. I will be purring for you and your mommy's safety!

I am very glad that the worst of the storms missed you. I am very sad about all the damage and deaths and injuries.

Oh, we are so glad you didn't get the worst of those storms. They were bad ones.

Thanks for the invitation to visit you at UnitedCats.com. We were finally able to stop by. We are impressed with your bow tie wardrobe. You look really handsome in them.

For some reason, we can almost picture Buddy wearing one and the image is too funny for words. He's not the bow tie type. More like baseball cap and sweats.

We had a great time watching the race!! It must have been really fun working in the pits. :-) You have to be super fast to do that.

We're purring for LK too.

We're sorry Sammy Meezer didn't win, but it must have been an awesome experience to be that close to a racing hero.

Hugs, Jff
