Thoughts

I was watching that commercial again where the cat hires the bloodhound to help him/her find its litterbox. That commercial became even more disturbing when I realized something. The bloodhound woofie couldn't find the litterbox either. That means BOTH of them had problems with smell (and the cat with memory). For a bloodhound that is extremely disturbing, since they are known for their keen sense of smell. Some people think that commerical is funny. I find it deeply disturbing.
Another thing I've been thinking about is how there are so little green papers for everyone right now (mom's even wondering how we're going to pay for my v-e-t bill in November). Shelters that house lost/homeless furries may really need green papers, food, litter, toys, etc. right now. SO, I suggest that this upcoming holiday season we band together and help them as best we can. Talk among your groups: panthers, tabbys, coats of many colors, gingers, tuxies, and mancats. See what ideas each group has and see what we can do as a whole. It's a thought!! Love, Beau

What a good idea! We'll start thinking about what we can do to help homeless furries.

That's a great idea, Beau! Our momma has been giving to the local shelter this year and we're proud to know that she's helped other kitties, even while we are glad that they don't come live with us ;-)

Maybe we can all donate some green papers or food or blankies to a kitty shelter for the holidays?

Those are good thoughts, Beau.
Many of our Georgia neighbors are without homes today because of the floods. We are trying to help them by donating what we can.
