Preparing for Scary NIght

Here in the United States, the little sticky people have a night out called Halloween. They dress up in costumes and go door to door asking for candy. That's all we furries need...lots and lots of hyper, little sticky people. Mom said it can be lots of fun if done right, but for us furries it can be a scary time. Some of the costumes can be very scary, and strangers knocking at our doors and showing up can also be scary. Plus, there are those who want to do harm to others, especially to furries. Therefore, we need to take special care during this night. First of all, if you go outside to do your business, do it early and make sure that your human is with you. Second, after that stay inside the rest of the night and, under NO circumstances go outside. Third, do NOT go out without your human from now until a few days afterwards. Some bad people will start early and continue afterwards doing bad things. Fourth, and this is for your own comfort, find a quiet, private area to hang out in during all the craziness. And, finally, most importantly, purrray for the safety and return of our missing friends. Hopefully, with all the little sticky people, and their parents, out that night someone will spot them and help them get back home. Love, Beau

We always worry about furries around Halloween. We hope effurybuddy and their sticky people stay safe.

Good suggestions, Beau! We don't have to worry because we're not outdoor kitties and our parents don't seem to get any sticky people (and they won't even be home that night).

We're praying for everyone to be safe and for our lost friends to make their way home to those who love them!

Very good advise, Beau!

I live in the city and don't have to worry much about those little sticky beasts. But I got the shock of my life with my own girl (Glogirly) decided to put on CAT EARS! Right in my own townhouse. Sheesh... I'm still recovering from the trauma.

Hope your Halloween was far less scary!
