AKA (New Nickname)
Because I'm very different at the vet, and around strangers, than I normally am when around just mom and or close family, the humans at the v-e-t have come up with a new nickname for me. It is based on a movie called Edward Scissorhands, which is about a strange guy with very large scissors for hands. (The dude was STRANGE!!) Anyway, the v-e-t humans are now calling me Furry Scissorpaws. =eyeroll= Mom really likes it and thinks it's cute and funny. I'm not sure what to think of it. Is this a good thing, and or is this an insult...I don't know. I would be interested in knowing what you, my feline friends, think of it. AND PLEASE DON'T CALL ME THAT. My name is BEAU!! Love, Beau

Well, Beau, it could be worse. Da vet tech dat haf been wif da doktor since Zippy was furst brawt in always sez "ohoh, crazy calico is here" when Zippy shows up. She haf a big red mark on her file too...

We're sure they meant it as a term of endearment...it is kinda cute...
That is an awesome nickname Beau! We love it and think that the vets must mean it lovingly.

We guess it depends on if they were being sweet and nice when they said it or if it was a not nice commentary on your behavior. Our parents have lots of nicknames for us and most of them are cute and sweet.
