What's up Wednesday
Mom and I are very upset. DPBlogger is at it again and won't let either one of us post pictures. It comes up saying they are aware of the problem and working to fix it. They've been saying that since yesterday, so fix it already! Geez! I am going to be selling a jacket, a parka type wrap, and one of those toy blue doughnut looking things with the rolling ball in the middle. I've hardly ever used them, but they do have my hair and smell on them. And the toy has little bit of catnip stuck to the insides of it. We are needing the green papers, especially with my physical coming up. It's not officially an auction, but mom will sell it to the one with the best offer. (Put offer in comments.) I was going to post pictures today of at least one, but stupid blogger won't let me. And mom can't post jewelry pictures either. BTW, she says very deepst thanks to all those helping figure out her problems with that site. When blogger does allow us to post pictures again I will get it up. Fantastic Friday
Today is a very exciting day for me. I have a new banner as you can see. Also, Mom's Jewelry Site should be done sometime next week. She finishes taking pictures of all her jewelry tomorrow, and then will upload them and start posting them. Christmas is coming so start thinking about gift ideas!! Mom uses the money to help us pay bills since she's on dis a bill a tee. Also, my Aunt T. and Uncle B. were on vacation and they got back tonight!!! WAHOO!! Oh, and I finally was able to change EVERYTHING over from my old site (except some of my badges quit working here, so I've got to figure that out now), so the old site will be deleted at the end of the month. Say your good-byes to the hanging paw and wagging tail!! heehee! Lastly, I'm glad it missed being Friday the 13th! To quote a book title mom has, "What a Difference A Day Makes!!" Thursday 13 - Things I like about my new blog
I like my new blog a lot for lots of reasons so I thought I would share a few of them with you! 1) The color suits me better. (I'm a tuxie not an orange tabby.) 2) Everything is now on one blog! WAHOO!! 3) It's friendlier 4) It features an updated picture of me. 5) It has more mega bites than the old one. (Which sort of cancels itself out since we have twice as much stuff on it.) 6) It was time for a change and change is good! 7) It makes things easier for mom which is always a good thing. 8) Most of my friends and family like it! 9) We have learned some more stuff in the process of doing this. 10) It made mom get a beginner's book to start learning how to do HTML herself FINALLY!! WAHOO!! 11) It just looks nicer. 12) It looks more professional, so fist a kate ed, and mature. (The other one was good for a kitten or a kittenish cat, but I'm older now so I wanted a more grown up look.) And finally, 13) It makes EVERYONE, including mom and me, smile more and that's a wonderful thing! Love, Beau Y

Wednesday Whatever
I had the hiccups last night, which I just HATE. Mom was petting me and realized it. All of the sudden, in the middle of petting me, she suddenly waved her hand in the air at me and yelled, BOO! Scared the heck out of me!! Really, it did! But, I don't have the hiccups anymore. They must've gotten scared too and hid. Don't ever let your human know you have the hiccups! Love, Beau

Tender Tuesday
Mom and I came across this link Golden Retriever Nurses Stray Kitten. It's a wonderful, "happily ever after" story about a hungry kitten named Precious who was found in an old tire at a plant. Rescuers were worried because it wouldn't drink from a bottle. Fortunately, Honey the rescuer's dog's maternal instiincts kicked in and Honey started caring for the kitten then producing milk. Honey and Precious took to each other, and now Precious is healthy and happy and thinks she's a dog. It's the best read of the day! Click the link and read the whole story! Handicap Awareness-About My Mom
ML suggested for handicap awareness it would be nice for us to tell our stories. So, mom said it was okay for me to tell you about her, as long as I don't mention her age. Four and 1/2 scores years ago..what's that mom.. that's telling your age...well I didn't know that. Anyhooo, mom was born with something called spine uh biff uh duh. That means when God set in motion for her to be made her spine column thing didn't develop right. Leaving out a bunch of technical stuff mom told me that I didn't understand, the messed up spine left a hole in her lower back (which had to be sewn closed by a human v-e-t), and damaged that big ball of nerves at the bottom of the spine thing. So they don't work right either. That is why mom is handicapped. She did walk with sticks called crutches. Now she is in a wheeled chair. Mom wants everyone to know that we especially need to remember our friends with handicaps and illnesses, that we haven't heard friom in a while, and to be sure to call, write, and or email them to let them know we're still thinking about them. Otherwise, they may think we don't care anymore. That is way more import than our story. Love Beau Y

Finally!!

I wanted a URL without archives in it and just beausblog, but that was taken, and everything we liked that we tried was also taken. Well, Oreo and his mom suggested beausbloggie, and that worked, and it was close enough to the original, so we kept it. Thanks to Oreo and Mom for the suggestion!! We're glad that everyone likes the change. It's better for us, and for our visitors as well!! And yes, Smeagol and Strider (Gizmo & Mystery too), we will miss the hanging paw and wagging tail too! For those of you who miss it, it will still be sitting there (almost empty) for a little white longer. Mom is still trying to work out switching out the BratCat Top 50 Feline Sites badge. Also, she wants to give everyone a chance to realize the change before she yanks the Gizzy quilt out from under them (heehee)!! Thursday 13+1 -- New Things About My Blog
I've got lots of exciting things to tell you so I'm going to do it in a Th13. 1) Mom and I are in the process of changing our blogs. 2) This blog will become part of my Archives site. 3) Once combined, this blog will no longer exist seperately. 4) I'm changing the look of the Archives site as well to reflect an all "new" blog. 5) It's blue. 6) My profile picture is different. 7) I'm wearing my blue bow tie. 8) Mom's got it half done already. 9) Mom and I had to get help. THANKS TO GEORGE (Crew's Views) AND MOM, AND TO SKEEZIX, FOR ALL THE HELP. 10) We hope to have it switched over by Monday, but don't count on it. Life happens! 11) We considered eventually importing to WordPress, but we coulnd't even exist templates after setting ourselves up, we can edit more, free, on Blogger, and when we went to Wordpress support they were closed and Blogger wasn't. 12) Blogger support was actually helpful in figuring out how to do the switch from Earthlink Trellix to Blogger. 13) I will probably start blogging on it next week. Tuxie Toesie Tuesday
That was a picture of my tuxie toes that I showed on my blog. Speaking of this blog, mom and I had a talk last night. We have decided that IF we can find someone with a Blogger blog, that is willing to help us move stuff from this blog to the Archives site, then we will consolidate to that blog. That will also make it more user friendly for you as well! But, we need help in knowing how to do stuff in order to do it. We have already changed things on the Archives site in preparation for this change. Check it out! Oh, and another positive would be that it would be less work for mom which would make her happier to help me type my blog...more posting again!! YEA!!! So, could someone out there pleeeease help us! Thanks!! AAAAND, in other news, mom had a bunch of cousins in town over the weekend. I wanted to see them but didn't get too. But, you know what I found out?? One pair of them had left their cats ALONE to fend for themselves ALL weekend. I was appalled! How awful for them! We're supposed to have staff always!! I thought I was going to faint! Gnews is that they got the guilts and left a little early to get home to see about them! DUH!! Humans! Love, Beau

I like your new blog, Beau. Sorry it's taken me so long to come by for a visit. Thank you for the reminder to visit or call your handicapped friends. My Mom and I have a good friend who was severly damaged by two strokes. We go visit her every week and are sad to learn from her husband that we are almost the only visitors they get. I know it's hard to see an active, lively friend so crippled up, but I can't tell you how glad that friend is to see someone come visit. I put the badge up on my blog.

Hey I had no idea that you were having to go to the vet. I hope you didn't hurt yourself at my party when you were tossing the ball of yarn for Misty. I thought that was nice that you looked out after her. I am glad you came and felt at home and really enjoyed the snacks. Get lots of rest and you will be back on your feet in no time at all.
